On July 22, 2015, in the Astrakhan region, material from the Internet was recognized as extremist. At the beginning of 2015, the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk district of the Astrakhan region announced that it had found material on one of the sites " containing the humiliation and insult of a group of people on the basis of their belonging to a national group, as well as public calls to humiliate the Russian people and the Russian state ." Based on the results of the check, the prosecutor's office sent an application to the Krasnoyarsk District Court of the Astrakhan Region to recognize the material as extremist.

The court fully satisfied the requirements of the prosecutor.
