Due to the call to participate in a people's gathering against the elections, Roskomnadzor blocked the Voice of Kuban website and the Kuban, open your eyes group on the VKontakte social network under Lugovoi's law.
On September 10, 2015 it became known that Roskomnadzor at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office blocked access to the website "Voice of Kuban" and group "Kuban, open your eyes"" in the social network "VKontakte". Locks are explained by the fact that these resources published material about the gathering in Krasnodar and in the village of Poltavskaya against the elections of September 13, 2015, in which contain " calls for riots, the implementation of extremist activity or participation in mass (public) events, carried out in violation of the established order .
Meanwhile, from the cached copy of search engines material it is obvious that it does not contain any calls for riots and extremist activities, but calls on citizens to take participation in an event that does not require official approval. In the following days, two posts on LiveJournal blogs were also blocked, dedicated to the arrest of activist Darya Polyudova, but containing references to popular gatherings; one of them belonged to Andrey Romanov , a Magnitogorsk activist living in Finland , the other was a repost of the first one.
Let us recall, from our point of view, the provision of the "law Lugovoi" on blocking information about unauthorized events is unlawful. since the fact that the event is not permitted does not justify stop posting about it. This is a clear violation of the right to freedom of speech. Moreover, it is unlawful to demand to block messages about events, in on which no decision has been taken by the authorities.
