80% cheese in Russia - fake

A significant part of the cheese products on the shelves of Russian stores is a falsification - Interfax reports with reference to the monitoring data of Rosselkhoznadzor for the period from May to September. 78.3% of the so -called “cheese” is not such, since “falsified with vegetable fat.” In this case, in Moscow and the Moscow region, the share of fake cheeses is much lower than on average in Russia - 45%.

Earlier, the Rosselkhoznadzor found out that fake and, sometimes dangerous “cheeses” are produced in the Samara, Bryansk and Kaluga regions, as well as in Yakutia and the Stavropol Territory. The people of imported products are most often manufactured by Ukrainian companies (40.8% of the number of cases identified in the products of third countries).
