Three Turkish citizens who taught Turkish were expelled from Astrakhan for the discrepancy between the activities declared at the entrance and the propaganda of "pan-Turkism".
On October 1, 2015 it became known that on September 21 from Astrakhan, a Turkish citizen Ugur Yalgyn was expelled. Before that, two more Turkish citizens were expelled - Alper Aslankurt and Metin Karakoch. All three were banned from entering Russia for 10 years for "propaganda of Pan-Turkism."
They arrived in Russia, according to the documents, for classes teaching activities. According to the intelligence services, in the language training center, where they taught Turkish, they spread the ideas of "pan-Turkism" (movements for the unification of the Turkic peoples). Recall Metin Karakoç in July 2015 was brought to administrative responsibility for distributing materials of the Turkish Islamic leader Fethullah Gülen.
