Moscow: a verdict was passed against Alexander Amelin

In October 2015 in Moscow, the court sentenced to 1.5 years conditional imprisonment of the leader of the ultra-right movement "Russian Renaissance" Alexander Amelina. On October 27, 2015, the Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow ruled verdict in the case against 26-year-old Alexander Amelina. He was charged under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for the implementation extremist activities).

According to investigators, on May 1, 2015, A. Amelin took part in the procession "Russian Spring" and spoke at a rally where made public calls for extremist activities. Please note that May 1st 2015, Amelin took the stage at Russian May Day in a T-shirt "Putin - fascist" and urged the audience " to take pitchforks, machine guns and drive the scum out of Kremlin ". After that, he was detained by the police.

In this case 15 September 2015 in Moscow in Amelin's apartment, employees of the Center "E" conducted a search .

The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 1.5 years in prison with the deprivation of the right to engage in social and political activities for two years.

Alexander Amelin is the coordinator movement "Russian Renaissance" (original name - movement "I am Russian") and the Heritage group. While still a minor, he joined the Movement against illegal immigration (DPNI), after the ban of which he moved to association "Russians".
