A pensioner from the village of Chernigovka, Primorye Territory, was fined for distributing extremist materials after several copies of Zhuan Falun were found in her home.
In early November 2015, it became known that on October 29, 2015, the district court of the village of Chernigovka, Primorsky Krai, found pensioner Vera Osadchaya guilty under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of extremist materials) and sentenced her to a fine of 1,000 rubles and confiscation of the subject of the offense - two copies of the founding book of Falun Dafa, Zhuan Falun, included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
Five copies of the book "Zhuan Falun" were found at the Osadchi during a search conducted with the authorization of the Primorsky Regional Court at the end of August 2015, two of them became real evidence in court: two citizens testified that Osadchaya gave them these books. The pensioner accused the witnesses of lying, but her testimony was not taken into account.
Recall, the Russian court found that the book "Zhuan Falun" promotes the superiority of adherents of the ideology of Falun Gong over other people. From our point of view, the book does not contain any signs extremism. As for the propaganda of the truth of one's own beliefs, it cannot be regarded as inciting hatred.
