At the end of October 2015, it became known that, under the influence of public protests, the builder of a church on a summer cottage in the Pushkinsky district of the Moscow region registered the building as a private house.
The construction of the church on the territory of the horticultural partnership "Rostok" Lyudmila Mokretsova began in 2011. Other summer residents then did not object to the construction. However, already in 2012
between SNT "Rostok" and Lyudmila Mokretsova, a trial began. The court decided to stop the construction of the church on the dacha, given the misuse of the land. It was not possible to challenge the decision of the court in higher instances. Currently, construction continues, although the building had to be registered as a house.
“ I'm tired of attacks ,” says the builder of the church and the owner of the land. - Therefore, now for people it is not a temple, but just a house. If they themselves want, there will be a temple. If they don’t need it, it doesn’t exist for them anyway, I designed this building as a private house. To defend it like a temple, I cannot ... and I will not .
“ The woman decided to build this temple, and at first the inhabitants were not against it. And then the chairman was replaced, who categorically opposes the temple. And these people are now hindering the construction of the church. We cannot prohibit its construction in any way, since a woman builds it on her territory. I also asked her not to do anything yet, but this is her choice. We would like everything to be resolved peacefully ,” the dean of the Pushkin District comments on the situation.
