The case against the leader of the "Border of the North" has been brought to court

On November 12, 2015, a case against the leader of the “Boundary of the North” movement, Alexei Kolegov, was brought to court in Komi. He is accused of torture with the use of torture as part of a group by prior conspiracy. We are talking about attacks by members of the organization on those whom they considered “pedophiles”, carried out within the framework of the Occupy Pedophile project.

On November 12, 2015, in Syktyvkar (Komi Republic), a criminal indictment was confirmed against the leader of the “Boundary of the North” Alexei Kolegov and five of his “associates.” The case was sent to the Syktyvkar City Court for consideration on the merits. There are also minors among the accused. This means that the process will take place behind closed doors. Colleagues have been under arrest since the beginning of the investigation.

The charges brought against Alexey Kolegov include several episodes, qualified by the investigation under paragraphs. “d”, “f” and “h” part 2 art. 117 of the Criminal Code (torture committed with the use of torture, by an organized group, motivated by hatred or hostility towards a certain social group), Part 1 of Art. 119 (threat of murder), part 4 of Art. 150 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (involvement of minors in committing crimes as part of a criminal group, as well as committing crimes motivated by hatred or enmity against a certain social group) and Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code (vandalism committed by a group of persons).

The case was conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Komi. According to investigators, in 2014 Kolegov “ organized an action against persons of non-traditional sexual orientation .” Accomplices found victims on the Internet, provoking them to meet in person. Those who came were tied up, beaten, and mocked. The incident was filmed and videotaped. Pictures and videos were posted on the “Rubezh Severa” website.” On April 22, two movement activists purchased two cans of blue and yellow paint and in the evening poured paint over the Lenin monument on Stefanovskaya Square in Syktyvkar.

Kolegov admitted guilt partially, three accomplices - in full. Two more deny their involvement in the crimes.
