On December 9, 2015, a resident of the Lazarevsky district in Sochi was fined for posting extremist materials on the Internet.
On December 9, 2015, the prosecutor's office of the city of Sochi announced that, during an inspection, on a page in one of the social networks, material recognized as extremist by the decision of the Leninsky District Court of the city of Tyumen. The prosecutor's office of the city initiated an administrative offense case against a resident of the Lazarevsky district of the city of Sochi under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (dissemination of extremist materials).
The perpetrator was fined 3,000 rubles.
After the city prosecutor's office initiated an administrative case, the extremist material was removed from the social network.
