Administrative arrest for publishing Nazi symbols on social networks

On December 16, 2015, in the Tver region, a court imposed an administrative arrest on a resident of the Rameshkovsky district for posting Nazi symbols on a social network.

On December 16, 2015, the Rameshkovsky District Prosecutor's Office during an inspection discovered that a resident of the Rameshkovsky District posted on his personal page on the Internet " a photo album and graphic images containing symbols confusingly similar to Nazi symbols ." He was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols).

Based on the results of consideration of the prosecutor's decision, the young man was brought to administrative responsibility by the Rameshkovsky District Court in the form of administrative arrest for a period of 5 days.
