On December 20, 2015, it became known that the world court The Central District of Chelyabinsk recognized the pastor of the Church of Christians of Faith Gospel "Cornerstone" Alexander Filippov guilty of offense under Art. 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (“violation of the established law on the procedure for collecting, storing, using or distributing information about citizens (personal data)”). The court fined the pastor 500 rubles.
The prosecutor's office of Chelyabinsk appealed to the court following the results of the check. Besides,
the prosecutor's office warned the pastor about the inadmissibility of violating the law on
personal data. The prosecutor's office explained that in accordance with the Civil
religious organizations are unitary legal entities,
the founders of which do not become their participants and do not acquire rights in them
membership. “Thus, the church needs to bring the charter in line with the current
legislation. No extremist materials were found during the check ," -
said Deputy City Prosecutor Olga Chubuk.
