Karl Marx was injured in the city of Marx

In January 2016, it became known that in the city of Marx Saratov region was an act of ideological vandalism.

It is reported that on the monument to Karl Marx unknown drew a swastika, made the inscription "loh", and also painted on the philosopher "Hitler" a mustache, a black eye, a bandage over his other eye, and a scar on his cheek.

A report of the act of vandalism was sent to the police and the address of the owners of the site on which the monument is located.

At present, the sculpture has already been returned to its original view.

No criminal proceedings were reported.
