The government will create a new platform for the interaction of the authorities, business and the population on the development of single -industry towns. The base will be the VKontakte social network, and up to 2 billion rubles are ready to allocate up to 2 billion rubles to study officials at the Skolkovo management school, the first deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov said.

The Deputy Prime Minister spoke at a conference on the development of single -industry towns - settlements created around large production and largely dependent on its well -being. Shuvalov said: "We will create a design office on the basis of the Fund (the Development Fund). He expects that, thanks to the new development, the government will understand and see everything that happens at the municipal level, and the citizens and city halls of the single -industry towns will interact with each other as part of business development projects and creating a comfortable urban environment in them.

In addition, the platform will interact the municipalities “attached” managers and citizens at a horizontal level, exchanging the results of the projects implemented. “In order not to spend any special tools, not to create some special information resource, we will make a special segment on VKontakte,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

“It’s not that we will replace our work with the interaction of the municipal level of power with the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, but we will try to create a design that, unfortunately, is not yet. There will be no political context, I warn you in advance that it will simply not get there,” the official explained.

Shuvalov said that all 319 single -industry towns will fall into the system.
