On February 4, 2016, the prosecutor's office of the Kirovsky district of the city of Kazan announced that an 18-year-old resident of the city was fined in the case of an administrative offense under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols) and under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (production and distribution of extremist materials).
According to the prosecutor's office, since October 2013, an 18-year-old resident of Kazan has been freely available on his personal page in one of the social networks " photo images of extremist content and images with insults to people by nationality ."
The district prosecutor's office initiated an administrative offense case against the user.
The offender was fined 2,000 rubles to the state.
