In Mari El, a student was fined for the video “Appeal of skinheads to the Russian nation”

According to the prosecutor's office, in January 2016, based on the materials of inspections, the city prosecutor's office initiated 6 administrative proceedings under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (production and distribution of extremist materials). Another 5 residents of the city aged 19 to 30 were brought to administrative responsibility for similar offenses. In addition, the Yoshkar-Ola City Court granted 8 claims by the prosecutor for the recognition of materials as extremist.
