In Simferopol, a court authorized the arrest of Enver Bekirov, Emir-Usein Kuku, Vadim Siruk and Muslim Aliyev, who were detained on February 11 on suspicion of collaborating with Hizb ut-Tahrir.
On February 12, 2016, the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol authorized arrest of four Muslims detained on February 11 in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case in Crimea.
Enver Bekirov, Emir-Usein Kuku, Vadim Siruk and Muslim Aliyev, by court decision, will stay in custody until April 8, 2016.
Recall Muslims were detained as part of a criminal investigation under Parts 1 and 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code (organization activities of a terrorist organization) initiated in connection with activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Yalta and Alushta. Persecution of members of this organizations under anti-terrorist articles and accusing them of terrorism only based on party activities (holding meetings, reading literature, and etc.) we consider illegal.
