A round table on the problems of religious studies expertise was held in Moscow

During the roundtable held on February 19, 2016 scientists and lawyers discussed the problems of religious expertise.  

On February 19, 2016, a round table "Problems Religious Expertise”, organized by the Center for Religious Studies Religiopolis research. Its participants were religious scholars, sociologists, lawyers, journalists.

The participants discussed the principles of approach to religious studies expertise, problems arising in the course of such expertise, principles of selection experts. During the discussion, recommendations were made, in particular, regarding creation of a professional organization of religious scholars and licensing of experts, training methodological manual for conducting religious studies expertise, developing criteria for professionals conducting such an examination.
