Ivanovo: another act of anti-Islamic vandalism

On March 1, 2016, in the city of Ivanovo, two vandals drew a swastika and wrote a xenophobic slogan on the fence of the Cathedral Mosque.

On the night of March 1, 2016, an act of anti-Islamic and neo-Nazi vandalism occurred in the city of Ivanovo.

It is reported that vandals painted a swastika and wrote a xenophobic slogan on a column of the fence of the Ivanovo Cathedral Mosque. Judging by the video surveillance camera recording, the act of vandalism was committed by two young people: one wrote inscriptions, and the second filmed what was happening on camera.

The initiation of a criminal case has not yet been reported.

This is already the third time that vandals have desecrated this mosque. The first occurred on June 1, 2013, and the second on the night of November 1-2, 2014.
