In the Murmansk region, the court recognized video files justifying terrorist activities as extremist materials

On March 14, 2016, it became known that the Polyarny District Court recognized extremist audio files and videos posted on the Internet by a resident of the Polar Muaz Mammadov.

The court found that the man placed in social network "VKontakte" audio and video materials justifying terrorist activities and containing " calls for armed struggle as part of a group of like-minded people against existing systems of government to create a world theocratic state, in which power belongs to the religious institute and clergy ” , as well as calls to join the terrorist organization Jebhad an-Nusra.

By court order, the videos have been removed from the social network.
