A sentence was passed for the symbols of the Azov battalion on a bridge support

On February 29, 2016, a court in Vladimir sentenced Valentin Loginov to two years of restriction of freedom for the emblem of the Azov Battalion on a bridge across the river.

In March 2016, the Oktyabrsky District Court of the city of Vladimir found 32-year-old Valentin Loginov guilty under Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code (vandalism motivated by hatred). The court appointed him punishment in the form of two years of restriction of freedom. The verdict is not valid entered.

According to the materials of the case, on June 29, 2014, V. Loginov drew the emblem of the Azov Battalion on the pillar of the bridge across the Klyazma and wrote insulting xenophobic inscriptions. According to the examination, the image on the pillar of the bridge over the Klyazma " contained an incitement to negative actions of a nationalist nature, a demonstration of Nazi symbols, signs of propaganda of the ideology of violence, signs of propaganda of exclusivity, the superiority of the white race ."

Images of chevrons of the Azov Battalion, recognized as extremist by the decision of the Frunzensky District Court of Vladimir on November 30, 2015 and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials under item 3269. WITH from the point of view of the SOVA Center, this solution is redundant and meaningless. Battalion "Azov" was not recognized in Russia extremist organization, which means that a legal assessment of the actions of this division was not given.
