On March 22, 2016, the Slavic Legal Center in Moscow hosted presentation of the report of the Information and Analytical Center "Sova" "Problems implementation of freedom of conscience in Russia in 2015”.
The author of the report, Olga Sibireva, spoke about the main trends in the implementation of freedom of conscience in Russia.
Director of the SOVA Center Alexander Verkhovsky spoke about persecution of religious organizations as part of the anti-extremist legislation, attempts by the Russian Orthodox Church to take advantage of political conjuncture and changes in Russian legislation.
Associate Professor of the Center for the Study of Religions of the RSUH Boris Falikov described conflict around the production of the opera "Tannhäuser" in Novosibirsk and spoke about features of similar conflicts in other countries.
