Several parishioners of a Moscow mosque were detained on suspicion of collaboration with ISIS

On April 1, 2016, it became known that in Moscow, as part of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 205.1. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (assistance to terrorist activities), police officers detained six parishioners of the mosque, suspected of collaborating with the Islamic State.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, " the detainees were part of a group that for several months recruited fighters for Syrian groups in one of the capital's mosques ."
