A case against two far-right activists was brought to court in Engels

In April 2016, in Engels, Saratov Region, the investigation of a case launched against two far-right activists.

A 20-year-old local resident and his An 18-year-old acquaintance who is accused of several crimes.

According to the case file, on November 24, 2014, the senior defendant attacked a native of Uzbekistan, stabbing him twice. Fortunately, the victim managed to survive. In October and November 2014, he published on the social network VKontakte several racist videos and photos calling for racist violence. On November 17, 2014, he wrote on the wall of one of the buildings in the city a racist slogan. On December 6, 2014, young people set fire to one of the shops city ​​by throwing Molotov cocktails at it. In addition, the youngest of the defendants is accused of committing 12 dacha thefts.

Depending on the role of each, young people are charged with p. 2 tbsp. 111 of the Criminal Code (causing grievous bodily harm motivated by national hatred), Part 3 Art. 30 of the Criminal Code, part 2, art. 167 of the Criminal Code (attempted for intentional damage to someone else's property), Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (excitation national hatred), part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for the implementation extremist activity), Art. 158 of the Criminal Code (theft).

The case has already been referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
