In Kostroma, the singer of the song was convicted of calls for extremist activity

In April 2016, a local resident in Kostroma was sentenced to two years in prison for singing a song inciting violence.

In April 2016, the court passed a sentence on the 30-year-old Kostromich under Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).

It was established that on March 21, 2015, a convict in the basement of an apartment building in the presence of 15-20 people sang a song with "calls for violent action."

The man was sentenced to 2 years in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony with deprivation of the right to speak publicly in the media, electronic and information and telecommunication networks, including on the Internet and at public events, as well as posting on social networks any information for three years.

Previously, he had already been convicted under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred) for posting "materials of extremist content" on the Internet.
