On April 13, 2016, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kostroma Region announced that cases of administrative offenses under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols). According to the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the Krasnoselsky district, a young man (born in 1998) posted on his page an image similar to the swastika. A resident of the Makaryevsky district posted on a social network a video with a Nazi Nazi symbols.
