Awarded "Golden Masks"

On Saturday, April 16, at the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, the 22nd awarding ceremony of the laureates of the Russian National Theater Prize "Golden Mask" took place.

According to TASS , the majority of prizes, which claimed 52 theater from 19 cities of Russia, were awarded to representatives of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

In the nomination "Drama / Property of the Great Form" the prize received the "Dream on a Summer Night" Theater "Workshop P.N. Fomenko ”(Moscow), in the nomination“ Drama / Small Form Play ”-“ O-th. Late love ”Laboratory of Dmitry Krymov Theater“ School of Dramatic Art ”(Moscow).

For the best work of the director, Andrei Mogeliy ( “Drunk” , BDT named after G.A. Tovstonogov, Petersburg), Maria Smolnikova (“O-late love”) and Sergey Volkov (“Kabarea Brecht”, named after the Lensovet, Petersburg) became the laureates of the Golden Mask.

The prize to the best opera performance was awardedthe "Khovanshchina" of the Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko (Moscow), Andrei Lebedev ( “Romeo and Juliet” , “New Opera” named after E. Kolobova, Moscow), Alexander Titel (“Medea”, the Music Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, Moscow) was recognized as the best conductor.

Prizes for the best performance of roles in the opera were received by Hibla Hermzava (Medea) and Alexei Tatarintsev (Romeo and Juliet).

The “hero of our time” (Bolshoi Theater, Moscow) was recognized as the best ballet in the nomination “Ballet / Work of the conductor” was defeated by Yuri Kochnev (Steel Skok, the Opera and Ballet Theater, Saratov), ​​in the nomination “Ballet-Modern Dance / Work of the Baletmeister-Horeographer”-Lee (“When Snow fell, the Opera theater and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky, Perm).

The Golden Mask for the best foreign performance shown in Russia in 2015 was awarded to the performances of Boris Godunov (National Drama Theater, Vilnius, Lithuania) and “When the mountain changed its outfit” (Rurtristennale festival, Germany, and the Carmin Slovenika Theater, Slovenia).
