The leader of the Russian Communist Party G. Zyuganov called Christ “the first communist in chronology” and suggested that Christ today could participate in the May Day demonstration.
On April 20, 2016, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, commenting on reports of the cancellation of May Day demonstrations in some regions to coincide with Easter, assured that the communists, despite the position of the trade unions, would still go to demonstrations.
At the same time, he called Easter “an amazing, wonderful holiday,” which “does not at all contradict the solidarity of workers.”
“Christ was the first communist in the new era, ” said the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. - He raised his voice for the orphans, for the suffering, for the poor, for the sick, for the wretched - everyone who feels bad and hard. And in this regard, if he were alive, he would be in our columns."
Let us recall that in 2014 G. Zyuganov was awarded the Church Order of Glory and Honor (III degree).
