Fine for posting on social networks

On April 25, 2016, a local resident in the Altai Territory was fined for distributing extremist materials on a social network.

On April 25, 2016, the Ust-Pristansky District Court of the Altai Territory fined a local resident 1,000 rubles. 500 rubles. The prosecutor's check showed that the user had posted and kept video recordings on the social network, "which are recognized by the Federal Court and included by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the federal list of extremist materials."

In this regard, the district prosecutor initiated administrative proceedings under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published federal list of extremist materials, as well as their production or storage for the purpose of mass distribution).

The man has already been brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for publicly displaying Nazi paraphernalia or symbols on the same page on a social network. Sources
