In Mordovia, a sentence was passed under Art. 282

In Mordovia, A. Samyshkin was found guilty of inciting hatred by distributing "audio and video files calling for decisive, violent and destructive actions against non-Muslims."

April 26, 2016 it became known that the Leninsky Court of Saransk passed a sentence under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (excitation hatred) against Anton Samyshkin.

The court found that on the night of 6 to 7 July 2015, a man posted on the VKontakte social network “an audio and video files aimed at calls for decisive, violent and destructive actions against persons who do not profess Islam".

A. Samyshkin appointed punishment in the form of corrective labor for a period of 8 months with deduction of 10% of wages to the state income monthly.

Sentence did not enter into force.
