In Sevastopol, the investigation into the case against four people accused of involvement in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir has been completed. They are charged with participation in a terrorist organization.
On April 27, 2016, the Sevastopol prosecutor's office announced the approval of an indictment in the case of four accused of collaborating with Hizb ut-Tahrir.
Ruslan Zeytullayev is charged under Part 1 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organizing the activities of a terrorist organization), Rustem Vaitov, Yuri (Nuri) Primov and Ferat Sayfullaev - under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in a terrorist organization). Three of them were detained at the end of January, F. Sayfullaev - in April 2016.
The case was transferred for consideration to the North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don.
Let us remind you that we believe that accusing members of Hizb ut-Tahrir of promoting terrorism only on the basis of party activities (holding meetings, reading literature, etc.) and prosecuting them under anti-terrorism articles is unlawful.
