Nizhny Novgorod: a criminal case regarding the publication of xenophobic materials was brought to court

In April 2016, Nizhny Novgorod initiated criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code against a 27-year-old local resident, who published xenophobic materials on the VKontakte network.

The case was initiated against a 27-year-old local resident who, according to the investigation, in May 2015 he published on the social network VKontakte some xenophobic materials.

The young man fully admitted his guilt.

In June 2016, the case was submitted to the court for consideration on the merits.
