Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev wished the “good mood” to the residents of Feodosia, who complained to him the size of pensions. The video with the reply of the prime minister posted in her account on YouTube the local newspaper Kafa.

“The prices are frantic,” Medvedev complained one of the women. According to her, pensions in the region are incorrectly calculated and indexed, and it is impossible to live for 8 thousand rubles a month.

“What is eight thousand? We wipe our legs about us! We have worked for 45 years, we have nothing to pay,” the woman asked.

The prime minister replied that the indexation of pensions is now "nowhere to nowhere." “There is simply no money now. Find money - we will index,” Medvedev explained.

"You keep here, all the good, good mood and health," the prime minister said goodbye.

The day before, the chairman of the Duma Committee on Budget Andrei Makarov told RBC that pensions to the Russians would not be additionally indexed until the September elections. Another interlocutor of RBC specified that this is the issue of amendments to the budget, which the lower house will consider in the fall already in the new composition.

In 2016, pensions to Russians were indexed only by 4 percent, which is three times lower than the actual inflation of 2015, which, according to Rosstat, amounted to 12.9 percent.
