
The Moscow Arbitration Court granted the statement of Rosobrnadzor and annulled the license to carry out educational activities issued by the Ostankino Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting in 2011, RAPSI reports citing a court decision.
In addition, the court rejected the statement of claim, in which he disputed the order of the department to suspend the license. Now the university is obliged to stop educational activities.
The Ostankino Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting, according to its site, was founded in the Ostankino television center in 2002, as an educational institution of higher professional education. The Institute of Trustees includes international, state organizations, outstanding television and radio figures, including the Moscow Organization of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation, OJSC NTV television company, the Ostankino Directorate of Moscow, the Dialog Internet radio radio and others.
According to the results of 2015, Rosobnadzor suspended state accreditation to 126 universities and branches, the reception was prohibited in 75, and the license was suspended in 15, 11 educational organizations were terminated by the license and 20 were deprived of state accreditation of educational activities.
