In Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan, a sentence was passed for a video posted on the VKontakte social network.

In Ufa, a sentence was passed against a 28-year-old local resident, accused under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting ethnic hatred).

Recall that in March 2015, Kiryanov posted a video on his page on the VKontakte social network, in which experts saw "inciting nationalist hatred and enmity."

The defendant pleaded guilty and deleted the video.

The court sentenced him to 1 year of imprisonment conditionally for 1 year.
