Misanthropic Division member convicted in Magnitogorsk

In Magnitogorsk, the court sentenced a student to 120 hours of compulsory work Magnitogorsk College, football fan and member of the right-wing organization Misanthropic Division.

On June 6, 2016, the Ordzhonikidzevsky District Court sentenced a Magnitogorsk college student, football fan and member of the Misanthropic Division organization to 120 hours of compulsory labor under part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred or enmity).

It is reported that the student posted on the Internet "texts of articles and a video of neo-Nazi and extremist content... Imitating his idol .. he himself became a fan and member of the international right-wing radical organization Misanthropic Division." In addition, he joined the ranks of the fans of the Metallurg-Metiznik football club.

He had previously been convicted of a similar act.

The court also ordered the texts to be removed from the public domain.
