Starodub: a verdict was passed in the case of publishing xenophobic materials on a social network

A resident of Starodub, Bryansk region, has been sentenced for xenophobic materials on a social network.

In the city of Starodub, Bryansk region, a sentence was passed in a criminal case against 22-year-old Sergei Lysenko. The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred and enmity).

The court found that from July 2014 to April 2015, Lysenko posted on his page on the social network VKontakte in free access " textographic and audio materials containing statements aimed at inciting hatred and enmity towards non-Slavs ".

During the trial, Lysenko fully admitted his guilt in the crime.

The court sentenced the defendant to 160 hours of compulsory work.
