In the Kemerovo region, a case was brought to court against a resident of the Tyazhinskiy district for publications on the VKontakte social network.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo region completed the investigation of a criminal case against an 18-year-old resident of the Tyazhinskiy district, accused under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activity), part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national hatred or enmity, humiliation of human dignity).
According to investigators, the young man posted nationalist audio, video and text materials on his page on the VKontakte social network, and reposted files he liked with similar content. As part of the investigation of the criminal case, a linguistic examination was carried out, which confirmed that the materials were classified as extremist.
Since the spring of 2014, the defendant has been interested in the Nazi skinhead movement, the young man cut his hair short, "began to dress in their style."
The criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
