On June 9, 2016, it became known that two schoolgirls in Serov Sverdlovsk region staged a photo session, climbing a bow cross near one of the temples. The photos of the girl taken in this way were published on their VKontakte pages. The post sparked outrage Internet, which regarded it as an insult to religious feelings.
The police organized a check and established the identity of the schoolgirls. A preventive conversation was held with the girls and their parents. According to the press officer Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Valery Gorelykh, the girls did not want to offend feelings believers, “drawn the appropriate conclusions” and removed their photos from public access.
