Prosecutor's office of the Astrakhan region on administrative penalties for extremism

The prosecutor's office of the Astrakhan region reported that this year, the prosecutor's office, in connection with the discovery on the Internet of information of an extremist and terrorist nature sent to the court 25 statements of claim. There are 12 of them already considered and satisfied, the rest are under consideration.

Sovetsky District Court of the Astrakhan Region in two cases of administrative offenses under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (production and distribution of extremist materials) and Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols) fined two people.

In particular, on April 14, 2016, the Sovetsky District Court of Astrakhan under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses imposed an administrative fine.

On his page in the public domain in the "photos" section were " images similar to Nazi paraphernalia or symbols ... a photographic image of a man outwardly similar to the leader "National Socialist German Workers' Party" by Adolf Hitler, depiction of a man similar in appearance to the "Imperial the head of the SS guard detachments "by Heinrich Himmler, a photograph of a military uniform that looks similar to the uniform of the "SS" units, with the sign of military distinction of valor "Iron cross" with the image of the symbol of the NSDAP "swastika", images of a group of soldiers dressed in military uniform, who raise the national flag and the symbol of the NSDAP, photographic images of a man outwardly similar to Josef Goebbels - statesman and politician of the Nazi Germany ". Access to the user's page was free. At the hearing, he pleaded not guilty to committing an administrative offense.

He was found guilty of committing an administrative offense and fined 1,000 rubles.
