Samsonievsky Cathedral in St. Petersburg, previously part of the St. Isaac's Cathedral museum complex, was transferred to the Church.
On July 4, 2016, it became known that the management of the St. Isaac's Cathedral museum-monument transferred the building of Samsonievsky Cathedral, which was previously part of the museum complex, to the St. Petersburg diocese.
In return, the museum will receive premises at Bolshaya Morskaya, 40, where museum objects from the Smolny Cathedral, which was transferred to the Church earlier, will be transported.
