June 2016 in Omsk to 6 months in prison the court sentenced 18-year-old Nikita Svizhevsky on probation for publishing anti-Caucasian social media content. In July 2016, in Omsk, a sentence was passed on case under part 1, 2 of article 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national hatred with the threat use of violence) against 18-year-old Nikita Svizhevsky.
According to investigators, Svizhevsky since June 2014 until November 2015, regularly posted freely available on social networks materials directed against the natives of the Caucasus and Central Asia and calling for racist violence.
During the investigation, the young man his guilt admitted, saying that he came to hate the representatives of these groups after his girlfriend preferred a visitor to him.
The court sentenced him to 6 months of probation.
