Director of the Institute of Radio Constructing the Ministry of Defense was killed in the suburbs of Moscow

In the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow Region, two shots from the circumference were killed by the Director General of the Research Institute of Radio Grounding and Communications Sergey Semenin, Kommersant reports.

As the investigation established, the killer, who apparently knew the daily routine of the 42-year-old general director, arrived in advance to his house, located in the village of Red Warrior, on Monday morning. The killer hid in a dense shrub about 10 meters from a private house, in which Sergey Semenin lived with his wife and three children.

At eight o’clock in the morning, when the Director General of the Research Institute of Rlis began to leave the gates of his house, the unknown man reached and quickly headed for the victim’s car. The killer managed to shoot twice through the windshield.

Members of the investigative-operational brigade nevertheless found out that Sergei Semenin did not receive any threats addressed to anyone. Working out various versions of the murder, the employees of the TFR are still more inclined to look for the motives of crimes related to the work of Semenin.

Research Institute of RLIS, engaged in scientific research and developments in the field of natural and technical sciences, often fulfills orders of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
