
The largest agency of outdoor advertising of the Advertising Center of St. Petersburg refused to place the PARNAS party pre-election billboards, but positively responded to a similar request from United Russia-the co-chair of the St. Petersburg branch of the party Andrei Pivovarov spoke about this.
“They specified for which party the free area needed, I called the Parnas party, after consulting with the leadership, they said that they did not have space for us,“ Pivovarov said.
“After my colleague called them and asked if there was a place to accommodate the advertisement of the candidate from“ United Russia ”by Sergey Andenko, two hours later they sent a list of free areas precisely in those areas that I had previously asked,” said co -chairman Parnas.
Representatives of the company later contacted Pivovarov and said that the agency, in principle, was not engaged in the placement of political advertising. When asked why the company makes an exception for the party in power, the promise was followed to call back later.
