The former deputy editor -in -chief of Echo of Moscow, Lesya Ryabtseva, headed the national headquarters of the candidate for deputies of the State Duma, the editor -in -chief of Esquire, Ksenia Sokolova, wrote this on Facebook .

“I officially report that on August 16, Lesya Ryabtsev was appointed the chief of my campaign headquarters. I don’t doubt that this wonderful news inspires not only me, but also the entire progressive public, concerned about the fate of the Motherland and Humanity. Earlier it became known that the journalist Ksenia Sokolova, who previously entered the federal list of candidates for deputies of the State Duma from the Growth Party and is running for the Duma in CAO, took the position of chief editor of the Russian version of the Esquire magazine.

After his appointment to Sokolov in an interview with Meduza , that under her leadership, the magazine will not make publications about the immediate environment of the Russian President: “I will not write about Putin’s daughters - I am responsible for you,” Sokolova said.
