Samara: investigation into the case of calls for terrorism and extremism has been completed

In August 2016, in Samara, the case against 21-year-old local resident who posted audio clips, images from texts containing various calls for violence against certain ethnic and religious groups.

In August 2016, an investigation was completed in Samara proceedings for the initiation of a national hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code), public calls for extremism (part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code) and calls for terrorist activities (Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).

A 21-year-old local resident will soon be in the dock, which, according to law enforcement agencies in 2014 and 2015, published in Internet audio clips, images with texts that contained various calls for violence against certain ethnic and religious groups.

The case was referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
