The court liquidated the Unified Muslim Spiritual Board of the Penza Region

At the suit of the Ministry of Justice, the court liquidated the Unified Spiritual Administration Muslims of the Penza region for failure to provide reports on their activities.

On August 15, 2016, the Penza Regional Court ruled on the liquidation of the Unified Spiritual Administration of Muslims Penza region. Applied to the court for liquidation regional department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

The reason for going to court was violations of the law, in particular, failure to provide reports on activities of the organization, including financial, personnel governing bodies. However, the reports have not been published since 2013. June 2015 of the year, the world court of judicial district No. 2 of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza fined religious organization for 3 thousand rubles under Art. 19.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to submit information).

A single DUM of the Penza region has existed since 1998, at that At the time, it included 5 local religious organizations. In 2005 there were 41 such organizations, in 2016 - 3. Mufti Abbas Bibarsov, who has the right without power of attorney to act on behalf of a legal entity, died in 2012. In April 2015, the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation decided to exclude the EDUM of the Penza Region from its structure due to lack of activity.
