Racism and xenophobia. Results of August 2016

In August 2016, from racist and neo-Nazi motivated attacks injured at least six people in Moscow and Petersburg, three of whom died.

In total since the beginning of the year from racist and far-right ideologically motivated attacks, 4 people died, and at least 34 were injured or beaten in 8 regions of the country (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Trans-Baikal and Primorsky Territories, Vladimirskaya, Moscow, Novosibirsk and Sverdlovsk area).

Rally activity of the ultra-right the past period was low. You can mark the action in memory of the participants Tambov uprising and all anti-Bolshevik activists resistance, which was held on August 18 by the Nation and Freedom Committee in Moscow. The loudest verdict of August was the verdict of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow against one of the leaders Association "Russian" Alexander Belov (Potkin). The court recognized A.
