The Irkutsk court ordered Ravshan Sulaimonov to pay 1,000 rubles for publishing a lecture by Khalid Yasin on the VKontakte social network.
On September 27, 2016, the prosecutor's office of the Irkutsk region reported that a Tajik citizen was prosecuted under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials). By the decision of the Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk dated September 16, 2016, Ravshan Sulaymonov was fined 1,000 rubles.
The reason for the administrative persecution of Sulaymonov was that he published a video with a lecture by Islamic preacher Khalid Yasin "Aliens" on the social network "VKontakte". It was recognized as extremist on June 18, 2012 by the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials under number 1455.
We consider the ban on the lecture "Aliens" unlawful. Yasin in it contrasts Islamic religiosity with the temptations of the modern world and Western civilization, but does not preach a violent way of resolving the conflict.
