The Korsakov city court will consider the case of a local resident who distributed brochures in the entrance.
In September 2016, it became known that the case initiated in May against a local resident accused under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity).
According to the indictment, on March 23, 2016, a resident of Korsakov distributed brochures in the entrance of a residential building, which were recognized as extremist. Earlier it was reported that this is a publication called "Evidence of ISUS-CHRISTOV", which in 2013 was recognized as extremist by the Kuntsevsky District Court of Moscow, and then, in August 2014, was again banned by the Sverdlovsky District Court of Belgorod.
In our opinion, this pamphlet of the Yehovists-Ilyins is intended only to affirm the truth of the version of Christianity that was revealed to its author, and the falsity of all other denominations. We consider its ban unlawful, since propaganda of the superiority of one's religion over others cannot be considered a sign of extremism, and we could not find any calls for violence in the text.
