September 28, 2016 Prosecutor's Office of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra announced the completion of the investigation of the criminal case, filed against a resident of Nizhnevartovsk, accused of involvement in "Hizb ut-Tahrir" and the dissemination of xenophobic statements in the social network "In contact with".
The criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) and Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (excitation hate).
